AMSA-DC is a PC based Hardware and Software solution that combines analytical photogrammetric concepts and visual display requirements for imaging - in one workstation.

AMSA-DC is a PC based digital-image stereoplotter that performs 3-D maping from scanned photography. AMSA-DC is the next step in the evoluation of analytical photogrammetry. AMSA-DC provides the functionality and performance demanded by professional mapping organizations, and compares to analytical stereoplotters in accuracy. AMSA-DC brings togrther software and hardware that enables the user to easily produce accurate, high-quality digital and hardcopy products. AMSA-DC delivers a new dimension of speed and ease of use to the production environment. And AMSA-DC provides the internal tools to import and export data from external packages such as AutoCAD^®and Microstation^®.

System Configuration

The below listed are minimum system requirements for optimal performance of AMSAware:

Pentium^® or faster CPU

A minimum of 256 RAM for Softcopy and Digital Orthophoto (512 RAM recommended for faster operation for Softcopy and Digital Orthophoto)

RAM:

256 Mbs....................up to 1000 dpi

Higher than 256 Mbs...over 1000 dpi

Any windows based graphics adapter which supports 1024 x 768 resolution higher than 256 colors.

Storage media: (Since images require large space, we recommend the following storage devices):

8 Gig hard drive, min

CD-ROM Drive/Writer

Tape Drives and other storage systems are optional.

An SVGA color monitor which supports 1024 x 768 resolution or higher.

Any windows based graphics adapter which supports 1024 x 768 resolution higher than 256 colors

A 3-button mouse is preferable
